how can you confirm if gladiator has lossless english? is region free??? web link doesn't say?? if so, i'll pay $100!!!!!!

I'd EASILY pay that for Gladiator in 1080p and lossless audio. I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

this will be amazing in blu with DTS Master Audio.. who owns the distribution rights in the states? Its a universal title in the EU.. i wonder will they include the Theatrical and Directors Cut on the same disk with seamless branching?

Dreamworks (aka Paramount now) owns the US rights. I haven't heard a peep about a BD release here yet. Probably 2009.

I looooove this movie. I can remember the first time watching it me and my friends were silent then one guy said "isn't this movie kicking so much ass" and it was. Awesome movie its right behind Jaws and JP for me

Can we please delete this thread?? Everytime I see this thread listed I get all excited until I see it's in the Europe forum. I can't handle the emotional roller coaster any more!

Well, if Gladiator is coming out in Europe we Americans might be able to order it as an import.

I don't care about an import. I want an official, authentic, US copy. Eventually it will be released in the US this or next year hopefully.

It is a Hollywood movie. Hollywood is in America. For seem reason I find it logical that it should be released no later than December 4, 2008, to coincide with the Netherlands release!
