I seriously love Lynch... today was his finest handling of the media yet too. Loved it.

NFL is trying to fine Marshawn Lynch 100K for wearing a beast mode hat even though the hat is made by the NFL's hat sponsor New Era.

Community poll ends at 11:00am EST Sunday. During Super Bowl XLVIII, we had 87 participants and currently, we're at 70 members. Let's try to break the record this year.

It's an unfair question. Will the refs let the Seahawks get away with PI all game? Will the refs let the Patriots deflate their balls?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who notices the Seahawks secondary could have PI called EVERY play.

I'm not a serious football fan, or a Seahawk hater but I've heard several times over the past 2 years that the Seahawks are notoriously dirty.

After watching a couple games, it seemed fairly clear to me as well.

I didn't think this was still debated.

Seahawks are dirty, still a good defense though.

I just hope someday the refs just start calling them on it. Throw it for like first 5 plays, and then see if they actually know how to play defense.

I really hope Dan Quinn doesn't bring that BS to Atlanta.

The 'dirty play' thing is a myth. The reason people hate them has more to do with Pete Carroll just being generally disliked (for whatever reason) by a lot of people and because a lot of NFL fans thew a hissy fit over Richard Sherman's trash talk after a big playoff win last year.

Their "dirty play" isn't a myth. It's a philosophy that the refs might call PI on you, but they won't call it every play. So they take their chances, and it's worked out well for them.

They're the most penalized team in the league, try again.

If you look at it from that angle I suppose. There are different definitions of what dirty play constitutes. To me dirty play is punching a dude in the nuts, intentional helmet to helmet hits or stomping on another guy after the play. Things that result in big fines and suspensions. Trying to get away with PI is just breaking a minor in game rule which is subject to penalty but doesn't hurt anyone. It's the refs fault for not calling those plays.

How does that change anything I said? They get a lot of penalties, but they also don't get a lot.

Yeah, I can see what you're thinking of. They're certainly not Suh or James Harrison.

And I agree; it's absolutely on the refs, which is why I called out the refs and not the Seahawks.

How does this guy keep getting jobs... Wish I could consistently suck at what I do for a living and keep getting good jobs.

That's the case with every team. Or is there a pro seahawk agenda?

No, please don't go through with this. The NFL Hall of Fame doesn't need to be turned into a cheesy freakshow full of retired NFL players gimping around year round.

Before we die, there will be an NFL theme park. In fact, an executive for the Pro Football Hall of Fame recently proposed a version for Canton, Ohio, in which actual elderly NFL retirees would live in a nearby “village.” “We’ve been using an analogy,” he said, “the Disney World of football.” It at least makes you long for a bloody Westworld fantasia in which Carl Eller and Raymond Berry would rise up and kill the tourists.
