Movies like Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Under the Skin, or Lucy will probably drop in price six months to a year after the release date, but they're still cheaper on the actual release date than they'll be for quite a while. Price point is usually not a main concern of mine when it comes to movies that I'm really excited to see on Blu-ray, although there are a few exceptions. I'll often wait, for example, for a Barnes & Noble 50% sale to buy certain Criterion titles.
