Well, both Iron man and Incredible Hulk have both made nearly $500 million domestically and nearly $800 million worldwide. As others has indicated, the DVD/Blu ray, cable and tv broadcast will probably net over them well over $1 billion.

People will pay their hard earned money as long as there is something out there interesting enough to entertain them. Also more A-list actors appear to be interested in being in these kind of movies.

I never really pay too much attentoin to the numbers but this isnt anywhere near surprising to me. Maybe im just clueless but dont lots of movies cost this much to make?

He's saying both together (referring to Marvel movies this Summer). $446 million together domestically and $793 million World wide thus far (together).
