Play.com in the UK have the 4 Batman movies listed individually for release on 29th Dec. If that turns out to be accurate, a US release will most likely happen around that time as well.

The thing is in the UK, all of the Dirty Harry films were released separately. In the US, only the original was separate, all of the others were only available in the set. You never know what Warner will do. Time will tell.

I would bet against Warner releasing all 4 earlier Batman films individually... at least initially. It's just like The Matrix or the Spiderman. They know people want the first one or two, but not the last (or last two in the case of Batman). So, force people who feel they have to buy titles the day they come out to buy all of them at an inflated price to get the ones they want right away, then release the individual titles a year or two later for those who couldn't be conned into paying for crappy movies they don't want initially.

Or it could be like the Jack Ryan BDs and they could be released separately from the beginning.

Well, the Jack Ryan films really aren't a series in the same way Spiderman 1-3 are, or Batman is... also, which of the Jack Ryan movies is so awful no one will buy it unless they force you to by only putting out a collection of all the films.

And, since Warner has always talked about this release as a "Batman Anthology," its pretty clear they're planning it as a boxed set.
