I'm really looking forward to this. I'll very likely get this day 1. I'm hoping this has a good trophy list. I'm really starting to enjoy being a trophy hunter. I like challenging games too so this should be up my alley. I'm thinking I might get the Collector's Edition of this game but not totally sure yet, we'll see if I can find one on release day.

So it's not too much different from DSII. I don't know if the bell is an improvement over summon signs or not. I wonder if you can summon from any location, even the boss room, if you decide you need help? That would be a plus.
But the summon signs were nice in that you could see a ghost of the character you were summoning, and know if it was something that would complement your playstyle against a particular enemy. And you could summon or not summon a player you had played with before, if you recognized the name. The new matching system sounds like you just get randomly matched up. Not so good, if you play a tank and want a spellcaster to help you out, or vice versa. |

Interactive Trailer
https://www.playstation.com/en-us/ga...ctive-trailer/ After a certain point, you get a code for a free static theme available 3/11/15. The code is universal, so those who don't want to go through the steps: [Show spoiler] (I believe this code is for North America only)

Edit: Just watched a video. I agree, a little too bright. Last edited by ScarletKnight71; 03-11-2015 at 02:52 PM. |

Edge's review will be out tomorrow, and they gave the game their new cover:
![]() Some pages have apparently leaked (they seem to always do, do they?) Note: these are from third party accounts suposedly seen on leaked scans of the pages, so to be taken with a grain of salt. [Show spoiler] Supposedly they are at 40+ hours in the game at some point, and haven't finished the game, delved into PVP, or into the Chalice CoOp Dungeon. |

Remember the good ol' days when replay value in a game just meant that it was so damn fun you just HAD to play it over and over? When did gaming change to where we had to have extra incentive to replay a game other than the fact that it's a blast to play?

When they went to 3-d and had overly complex control schemes, bad collision detection and cameras that sucked. The last couple of generations I've found myself wrestling with games/controls and forcing myself to finish them rather than having fun and being immersed. Not to say I haven't had games I've enjoyed despite all this (Enslaved).

Noe everyone needs trophies, MP etc. Regardless of how fun a game is if it doesn't have anything extra for playing it again most forget it. |
