So there was a non-stop earthquake during the production of The Hunger Games?

You know what he means. People these days seem to equate a slightly rough look (with a couple of handheld running shots that are like any other handheld running shots) like on Mockingjay with the blatant shakeycam of something like Bourne Supremacy or Hunger Games when there's clearly a difference between them.

If you compare trailers, I forgot which, there's a clip of Gale from behind looking at an oncoming explosion. The early trailer shows a relatively stable picture with a dusty explosion whereas the later trailer shows the explosion with more fire and shaky camera effect added in.

The first movie was shaky cam, period. It can not be denied.

The DP was Tom Stern, who frequently works with Clint Eastwood. Clearly, Stern's work with Eastwood does not look like THG.

No one said it wasn't! What some people are trying to say - and what I think you said yourself on a previous page? - is that there's a world of difference between the loose vibe of Mockingjay and the outright shenanigans of THG or Greengrass's Bourne. But some folks just lump them under the shakeycam banner regardless, as if handheld camera work hadn't been invented prior to 2004.

I found the shot. I think they just added orange flames.

Same for the aforementioned "shaky cam". It didn't originate with "The Bourne Supremacy".

For the people who preordered the Target exclusive back in November. Did you get the poster with it? Because back then it didn't say you'd get the poster. It had like no info at all except for the fact that it was an exclusive.

I never said their wasn't, my point was it is a tool that film makers can choose how and when to use. Both have chosen to use it, on more then the other absolutely, but that doesn't negate from my point. The first film shouldn't be meddled with to reduce it as that was what the film makers wanted.

I heard someone say they know someone who got a poster when they picked it up on stores. I asked them how. But i haven't heard back from them though.

I posted about the poster all the way back in November, when the movie was about to be released in theaters.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...7&postcount=41

I got the poster with my BD in the same delivery.

Ok I need some quick backstory. I've seen the first one, but I didn't see the second "Catching Fire" and a friend gave me the iTunes code for Mockingjay yesterday so I'm watching it now.

It starts out where she's in some kind of hospital and is whining about her boyfriend.

What happened in the previous movie that resulted in the opening few minutes of this movie?

Well, it's pretty important to watch the second movie than isn't it?

Do you have a code to give me? Otherwise, just tell me what happened.
