Amazon has a place holder for it.


It's currently playing now on VOD. And will be in select theaters this month.

I've seen it already. It's a okay movie. A solid 3.75/5 Jennifer is certainly the highlight of the film. Especially a few key scenes I won't mention. But so sad really. I will admit that towards the end the film it loses a bit of it's luster.

By no means a total train wreck as the critics made it out to be. Nor is it great either. Just a okay to average film. Though I've never read the book it was based on. I heard alot of things were changed from the book to screen adaption.

The lead actress in this is just awful. I can't watch her films because she's so ugly and just can't act at all.

Agree with this. You know what's funny? If this film was released 20 years ago, it would've easily been released in over 2000 theaters. The times have changed when a straight drama like this with these two high profile actors hits VOD.

This movie has been delayed for a while. This was film after Silver Linings Playbook and before American Hustle. So that tells you this has has its share of trouble. From scripting issues to editing paces aswell.

Sure the studio that made this realized it was only a so and so film. And let it go by the way as it did. Surprised it wasn't picked up by a bigger studio. i mean considering who the two main stars are in this. But i suppose they thought even big name sometimes can't help a film.

I'll be honest I was only interested and watched the movie due to the cast. if neither or even Jennifer wasn't in it. I doubt if i would have even watched it.

Gonna check this out theatrically before committing to buying the disc. Still, I can't see how it is as bad as has been implied.

As I stated. It's no way a fantastic film. but also not that bad as people have made it out to be. or at least that's me anyway. I know its getting a very small theatrical release.

Only because such a great actor like Bradley Cooper is in it, otherwise this film would have just been tossed into the dumpster.

Will give this a watch when it hits select theaters, otherwise I'll wait for it to be available on Redbox so I can see if Lawrence and Cooper still have the magic chemistry.

Bradley would have magic chemistry with a rock, which is pretty much what it's like in this film.

I'd be sure to check your local listings. Do you have a local art house theater? if so your theater might get it. As i mentioned. This was right after they got done filming SLP and Jen actually mentioned Bradley by name for the role.

There's an AMC theater about 40 minutes away. I usually go there for IMAX viewings, but sometimes for the early or "limited" releases that other theaters don't have the privilege of getting on time. So that'll probably be my best bet.

Only one of those listed theaters in FL are kind of close to me, but it's still quite a drive. Unless they expand it more by April, I may just stick to a rental. Sorry, Jen and Bradley.

I guess the only way it would expand if it did really well. It's okay. I'm sure they will understand.
