It might just be me but I dont think these march madness sales are that mad. I'll just wait till the end of the year. On another note, I love shout/scream factory but boy do I hate their website.

I agree whole heartedly. The March Madness sale isn't anything worth getting excited over in my opinion. I enjoyed the Summer of Fear Sale last year and the October Sale's where each day/week a set of titles receive a discount (and came with coasters or magnets) and typically buy a few Blu's during that sale, however the March Madness "sale" just doesn't do anything for me.

What's even worse is that Best Buy is currently offering more titles at better prices as part of their sale that just makes March Madness that much worse.

I could not resist and grabbed Pumpkinhead, Night of the Comet, and A Boy and his Dog... along with Nosferatu . Yeah, their site is not the greatest .

I wanted to pick up Lifeforce, but I see that on Amazon there are two editions. One is a Collectors Edition and the other one isn't. On the Shout Factory website there isn't a CE of Lifeforce. What happened?

CE went out of print because of a licensing issue with the featurette. New edition is identical except for that.

The rerelease also has the original poster instead of the new artwork, if you care about such things.

They both have both from my understanding, the re-release just uses the original art on the outside.

Ah, I didn't know that. Well, then you're not really missing anything unless you're a slipcover wacko or really want that extra feature (which is pretty good, to be fair, but probably not worth more than a few dollars price difference).

Thanks for clarifying the Lifeforce Blu-ray difference between the CE and re-release. I decided to buy Escape From New York and Mad Max because I got a 10% off of $30 or more and free shipping. The total was $37.82. I think it was a pretty awesome deal because I'm getting the posters too.

Anyone know why they don't shrinkwrap the non-Collector's Edition blus? I didn't even know Dark Haul had a slipcover until someone posted it in a haul pic. I ordered mine from Barnes & Noble week 1 and it came slipless.
