So they are grabbing everything, going for the T.V. etc. I keep grabbing them before they can't get to it and they are throwing a fit. My sister says to me that we need to childproof the house while they are there. I looked at her and said hell no, they're your kids you need to keep an eye on them like I did with mine years before. She's the kind of parent that thinks you should let your kids do whatever they want. I told her she could do that at her house but not mine. needless to say it was a faily short visit.

AMEN, I'm glad to finally see someone has the same views as me. I have two children ages now are 15 & 20. When they were growing up I never had a problem with them messing with the equipment rack. They were tought not to mess around with Dad's stuff or they would die a slow death I keep reading stories in this forum about kids messing things up or scratching screens. It amazes me that some parents feel that there is nothing they can do to stop it. (They're just kids, I read) Yes !! Thats why they have to be tought right from wrong, not let them do whatever they want. I never had to childproof anything, just teach.
