I disagree. Some of these teams have a hard time keeping their star players. If you draft a guy groom him for 4/5 years and then he leaves to a more marketable city then you should get something. It's easy to get players to go to New York. Not easy to get free agents to sign in Jacksonville.

Maybe we should swap 1st round picks like some delusional Pats fans think . At most we'll be swapping 5th rounders lol.

If anyone should get hit with tampering it should be the Dolphins, especially when money details leaked 3 days before they could legitimately make Suh an offer

The NFL created that whole issue with the "legal" tampering days before FA starts. They don't want contracts to leak...don't have legal tampering

It would be if they won. But they have been bad for so long, it's no wonder it's not anyone's first choice. FWIW I feel your frustration, but do you treally think one or tow mid round picks is going to help offset losing quality FAs who move onto greener pastures?

The reason no one wants to sign with Jacksonville is because they haven't had success. Sure being a low end market doesn't help, but last time I checked New Orleans, Buffalo and GREEN BAY all have smaller markets than Jacksonville.

There is an even playing field. The Jags have the most to spend to get under the 2015 cap (might have been before FA started). I'ts not like MLB where there is an outrageous divide between the haves and have nots.

BTW i like your signing so far, you may have over payed a bit for Odrick but he is a solid player, and wish the Fins could have found a way to resign him, although not at that price.

Reread what Kraft said 3 times and not even a single reference can be considered tampering, not even a word of it. The NFL should instantly now dock the jets their last round pick just for wasting the NFL's time!

What the Jets did was clear cut tampering, it basically told Revis hey we have 50+ million in cap space reserved for you before the patriots even had a chance to discuss an extension, because the second the jets owner said those words any contract discussion between the patriots and Revis was dead in the water!

Just because it took 3 days to ink the paper does not mean there wasn't tampering his contract details leaked Friday Night and what a shock Fridays contract was spot on to what he signed which means they negotiated before Friday which means the Dolphins who were not allowed to offer a contract tampered with the Lions exclusive right to Negotiate with Suh. The Jets who didnt even talk to Revis before he was released are about to get popped which is total BS. But the Dolphins are going to get away with obvious tampering no matter if Detroit intended to resign him or not. Saying you want a guy back is not tampering, Offering a contract of 114 million with 60 million Guaranteed 5 days before the 4pm Tuesday opening period clear cut tampering.

Jets have nothing to lose by doing this. They are trying to lessen the blow if possible for their pick swap or whatever will come from their Revis tampering. As lots of people can see it's pretty much a joke and i feel bad for the guy that has to spend his time on this one
