Instead of bickering about how Shout is about to meet its doom, let's be productive and positive about what they have done and are doing. Can you guys recommend some Scream titles to me please? What key releases am I missing?

Already have:
Amityville Trilogy
Assault on precinct 13
Bad dreams/visiting hours
Cat people
Crawlspace
Deadly blessing
Death valley
The Fog
Ginger snaps
Legend of hell house
Prince of darkness
Ravenous
Sleepaway camp
Witchboard

Preordered:
Class of 1984
Dog soldiers
Escape from new york
Sleepaway camp 2 & 3
Stigmata

The Howling is a straight-up classic, and I'd also heartily recommend The Funhouse and Nightbreed. Oh, and the two Price sets are essentials.

Terrorvision/The Video Dead is the original (and best) Scream Factory double feature.

Both Vincent Price collections are top notch.

More personal recommendations:

Prison
The Burning
Lifeforce
The Howling
Day of the Dead
Psycho II and III
Body Bags
Night of the Comet
Night of the Demons
Evilspeak
Lake Placid
Deadly Eyes
Phantom of the Paradise
Without Warning
Motel Hell
Pumpkinhead
Squirm
Dolls
Monkey Shines
Phantom of the Opera

Nemo the Halloween movies are great and Motel Hell was pretty good. Catastrophe has a pretty good list above as well, of all the ones I've seen Catastrophe didn't list a bad movie in that lineup.

It wouldn't make sense for either of them financially. The Poltergeist sequels are not Halloween II.

The titles in bold have superior versions available from Arrow UK if you're able to do Region B, like I can. Way more options become available once you're multi-region capable.

The only Shout Factory Blu-ray I have in my official collection is The Duellists. About to change that hopefully with Escape From New York and MAD MAX. I really like the front cover art. Highly reminiscent of Drew Struzan and hope this artist returns for more features.
Possibly going to buy the Bruce Lee Premiere Collection, PSYCHO II & III (Why not IV and Bates Motel which is the other TV movie?), Amityville Trilogy, Assault on Precinct 13, The Seven-Per-Cent Solution, THE FOG, etc.
But for releases where I'm able to choose between Shout/Scream and other companies on the planet, I'll do the research first before buying.

The Arrow edition of Night of the Comet also includes the Mary Woronov interview that the Scream disc advertises as having...but doesn't.

But the Arrow has far superior grain retention compared to the Scream disc. Also has a nice booklet too, which I wish Shout/Scream would offer.

That's what they should spend money on instead of looking into steelbooks. Those little booklets are awesome; I loved the one for Deranged with the Bob Clark interview.

Yeah, if I had my own company, I'd do it exactly like Arrow UK but no Steelbooks, fat and informative booklets, all restorations done at 4K zero DVNR or EE, original cinematic audio as lossless and remix as secondary on the menu, tons of special features including stuff from Oliver Harper and others from YouTube who're very informative and don't put on a fake personality, all special features from LD & DVD including new ones, and if the film is long enough all film and commentaries including trailers/isolated scores on the first disc and the rest on the second. High bitrate AVC and also DTS-HD MA or LPCM where applicable and still keep the recommisioned artwork and original. As I mentioned I really like the artist Scream/Shout got for MAD MAX and Escape From New York. Same calibre as Drew Struzan.
Very first release I'd do with my dream company would be Brotherhood of the Wolf/Le Pacte des Loups.
[Show spoiler]4K complete remaster offering both Director's and Theatrical Cuts, the original French audio taking precedence over the dub, all extras in 1080p including the deleted scenes, all commentaries and special features from the TVA Canadian 3-Disc DVD and the French 4-Disc DVD subtitled. Maybe a 3-Disc set. Disc 1 The Film with seamless branching, isolated score, trailers, etc. Next two discs being the extras, both the original and new. Also a 45 page booklet, reversable covers and a very nice matte finish slip with certain things being glossy and embossed. Release #1 and released in unlimited quantities. 100% Approval from Christophe Gans & Co.

Don't I wish!

But anyway, being multi-region capable, I have way too many options to choose from and now I have to do even more research for certain titles. Many I've already made my choices and others I'm still researching. Just gotta decide which releases I should buy first. Oh those Upgrade priorities are far greater compared to a title I've only rented or borrowed from friends.

Yeah, I love booklets. Criterion, Twilight Time and Shout's own Corman collection. Wish the collector's edition Scream releases had booklets.

One major thing I'm ecstatic about finally getting the momentum going for collecting both Arrow UK and Criterion releases are all the booklets to read. I think Eureka's Masters of Cinema also has them too? Also Region B territory but it's multi-Region for me.
Agreed Collector's Edition need booklets. Wish there were for the upcoming Escape From New York and MAD MAX. Always take them as random factoids which delve even deeper about the films production.
Regarding Twilight Time...
[Show spoiler]I'm glad Arrow UK is releasing The Train with even more extras and isn't a limited edition, which has me wary for TT. More for the fact it's a title for me which counts as an automatic Upgrade to Blu-ray. I do really want to buy Major Dundee though but I'm more than likely import or buy a domestic release of something else instead.

Instead of a slipcover, Shout ought to just have thick booklets. And yeah I am a major fan of slipcovers.

I can respect that, my friend

With the exception of a handful of releases, primarily the John Carpenter films, and the Vincent Price sets, I am completely underwhelmed by the choice of films that Scream Factory has chosen in terms of its recent releases.

There are many other distributors that have really stepped up in the last 6 months that are (or will be) releasing the films on blu ray that I want to purchase and add to my library.

SF should get a hold of Black Christmas (1974). The last release way VERY underwhelming.
