LOTR over both, but I'd probably snag Alien/Aliens before Star Wars, especially since I just bought that last version of Ep4-6 on DVD that had the theatrical releases on it.

I realize that the prequels, as well as George Lucas' arrogance & stubborn attitude about pleasing fans over himself, has dampened alot of people's feelings toward Star Wars. However, if we are talking about the original trilogy, these are some of the best Blockbusters ever made! I would be absolutely ecstatic if these were released on Blu-ray, as these were the films that really made "Home Theater" what it was then, as well as up-the-ante to what it's becoming now. I know it isn't the only one, and certainly isn't solely responsible for anything, but I'm just saying-Blu-ray dream material all the way!!

P.S.-If I could have my cake and eat it too, LOTR, Harry Potter and Indy NOW!!! Don't care about Aliens one way or another...

I have bought Star Wars so many times. I will have to go with Star Wars one more time, but I'll be buying both if they become available.

I would murder someone in cold blood for both, but to choose one...

Star Wars, hands down.

-Indy would be sweet too.

And I definately don't want LOTR. I don't need any help falling asleep.

Just imagine what Star Wars fans will have to go through: First he will release individual movies. Then he will release special editions of those movies. Then he will release a box set of the original trilogy. Then a special edition of the original trilogy. Then the prequels. Then special edition prequels. Then box set of prequels followed by a special edition box set of the prequels...whew...Then by the time I'm 80, a complete box set.

At the end of it all, it would be worth it.

Aliens would get my vote. When Star Wars first came out I bet I saw it 20 times in the theater. It had to do with split shits and to far to go home so had time to kill.

Well, I think Star Wars will make it. But, to be correct, Alien is not a Trilogy as there are 4 Movies...
5 if you count Alien Vs Predator, which was better then all but the first two Aliens imho.

I really only want Aliens from that colleciton, as the other ones were meh.

Damn, star wars is whipping aliens in the rear. So sad

Might do another, better poll.

List the "CLASSIC" "trilogies" - YES - I am aware that most of these are not "trilogies" but that is just what I am calling it. Makes it easier.

Pirates is not included. Its out, people can pick it up. We are talking about the "classics" that are not out.

We have..

Aliens
LOTR
Star Wars
Indiana Jones
Die Hard
Matrix
Harry Potter
