I don't care about the silly customizations (what a waste and a slap in the face for hours of gameplay). Neon kneepads?!! That's it?!! I should get an upgraded weapon or a new weapon etc. That might be worth it.

I like playing for rank as a personal goal (like trophies for some). But it is a d@mn hassle for playing with my buddies.

When was the last time you played?

Hero mode is O.K. It's nice when someone throws in a Hero mode in the middle of CTF maps or something for a quick change of pace. I wouldn't want to play Hero game after Hero game though. But hey, it's a new, free mode - can't complain about that.

Does anyone like the new Collector mode? I find it kinda dumb...capture the flag is much more fun. Maybe I'm doing it wrong hehe.

I like it on small maps cause it more chaotic. Like everyone is fighting or the same scraps of food. And it's funny when someone is running with the cores and gets killed, then the person who stole them gets killed, and it keeps going back and forth.

Plus, you need team mates who understand that the more cores you drop at once, the more points you get.

I gave both of the new modes a shot, Hero is okay, but I really don't like collection. I'm back to being a CTF junky.

Idealsupra-That's a great idea of everyone getting together and trying to achieve trophys. I'm down for it.

IDK if your on my psn friends list or not though.

I like the new collector mode. It's a tie kind of between CTF. Both are really fun when you've got good teamwork involved. If not, then both suck. But at least you can get more points on collection if your team doesn't help you out much.

Ya, maybe it's better now. When I tried it it had just came out and nobody really knew what was going on. I'll try it on a smaller map too, I agree full size is too big for this game even if all 32 spots are filled.

Actually, I only jumped up two levels because I'm a little bit short of the 9000 points needed for the next.......that's changing soon though.....

So what is that, a sergeant major? I was just promoted to that last weekend, not sure how many I need for the next one after that though. It will take me forever with my router, I have to leave the server immediately at the end of each game and then rejoin to avoid a freeze. Problem is that when I do that, I never get the 50 points for being on the winning team. Oh well, at least I won't be in the same situation as Cymbol!

Y'know, yesterday I just did that thing where you have to destroy a Warhawk with the bomb drop weapon. Has anyone here done that yet?

only once, but I have done it. You just have to find that one idiot who thinks he is going to rack up a few kills by picking on a group of troops. Just swoop in and *BAM* it's almost humiliating to get killed by a cluster bomb when you're in a warhawk.

Yes it is, but thats why i try to get in games that i am so not the highest rank in so you vets can jump in for a few and lowbies can join in the fun as well.

Once or twice - but since this stat isn't tracked yet, you won't get the trophy for it. There are probably over 25 trophies I won't get credit for because they aren't tracked along with the ranks and awards. Which is really kind of annoying since I actually have done many of those, many times. (Shooting down Warhawks with a tank, etc.)

Really, your just bound to accomplish many of those - especially after over 250 hours of gameplay.

Most of us are from the U.S. - we have a few Brits. Also, be aware, even though we have many people in the clan (over 50?) only 10 or so are really avid players. With the new baby, I've cut my gameplay time way down. But I'm usually on almost once a day, even to just play one game. (I always feel bad when a Blu-Clan member joins my game and I have to go.

The only person who I think plays as much as me is JonD7. I always check the Blu-Clan to see if there is someone to play with first - if not, I go play my own game. I've seen at least one person on each night - I just can't get into the rooms because of rank restrictions.
