Probably was Lucas, what with all that free time and money he has.

Whats all this about the nods to the prequels? Who cares? This is 30 years past Jedi! Time to move on. This is coming from a prequel lover. Jar Jar is one of my favorite creations but there is no reason for him or any other prequel era characters to be shown in Ep VII

Luke, Leia, Yoda and Chewbacca are in the prequels.

The only prequel nod I want is for Captain Panaka to randomly show up in Ep.7 and say "The Hutts are gangsters" and then exit stage left.

There is surely going to be a Bobba Fett movie taking place before Empire and that will be when we see what the new team really thinks of the prequels.

Are you wondering if they'll stick with his prequel based backstory?

As far as I'm concerned, Clones (and the new voice-dub in Empire) pretty much ruined the character of Boba Fett.

So, I couldn't really care less about a stand alone Fett film anymore.

Fett was the worst character in the OT. I thought Daniel Logan did just fine and I love his back story.

If they're making a spin-off focusing on Boba Fett, half of the time he will be taking his helmet off. Then they have no choice but to cast Temuera Morrison. Otherwise they have to use that idea of the making the original trilogy Boba Fett an impostor (which is still difficult as his voice is in Empire).

I wish they did a solo movie about Lobot instead.

His prequel backstory is part of the canon, but thankfully it stops when he's like 14 or so, so if they want a "young" boba fett they can make him 18 and have him on his first real bounty hunter adventures and it won't contradict anything. Besides, his stuff on the Clone Wars cartoon was pretty good.

Or they can cast a 35 year old and have it take place a year before Empire.

In Boba Fett's solo movie, I hope they focus on how it's hard for him to see with his helmet on... which would explain why he didnt have the instinct to see that his enemy (Han Solo) was right behind him before getting his jetpack bumped.

Boba Fett's death scene maybe could have been better if Lucas removed the "screaming like a biotch" and just left him as silent. That was not the same man picking up women in Jabba's palace.
