I'm a pretty lousy sniper, so last night I was practicing.

I had 25 straight snipes and no deaths with 10 min to go and the screen froze, first time ever! GRRRRRR....This game is definitely a love/hate affair.

After we realized it we all left the game before the next round started as we figured there was something wrong with the connection to the main server, even though we were still showing our correct rank. I also racked up about 90 pts or so in a single game and all I needed to rank up was 25 yet the rank did not come and I already had the appropriate badge requirement. After playing two more rounds on different servers and accumulating at least 80 pts I still did not rank up so I decided to call it quits. Just one of those funny warhawk glitches... there one day gone the next.

The requirements in a round (IAR) are to spend a total of 4 minutes in an aircraft it does not have to be a continuous 4 minutes. You need to kill one ground troop and one ground vehicle while in an aircraft, and it does not have to be at the same time.

The easiest way to get the kills is using the tow missile which is the one you fire and then get to navigate or use the cluster bomb, although the cluster bombs are a bit easier to avoid and therefore harder to get a kill.

I would recommend playing a CTF match as you are more likely to get large groups of people and vehicles in one place either capturing or trying to return a flag.

If you are having difficulty staying alive in a warhawk go after the invisibility pickups, I know there are two of them in the Omega Dawn, Eucadia and Island Outpost maps, I believe the other maps only have one each. Each gives you 100 units of inviability and you can pick them up while invisible for a maximum of 200 units of stored invisibility.

It may take a few rounds to finally get it but it will happen. Keep us apprised of your progress or any other problems.

Yep, TOW missles or Cluster Bombs for easy/easier kills - and if you get killed hunting around for invisibility all the time - just go hide out under a bridge or behind a mountain, or high above the action (you'd be surprised how many people never "look up".) Sure it's not the most heroic thing to do - but if it's only one time during one game to get your rank - then I think it's fine.

i played for a solid 4 hours just now... saw mac daddy pickin on me


I was working on some different strategies and invariably getting killed a lot in the process, however - I did find a few tricks along the way so I consider it worthwhile death

Hmmmm, "dying a lot" doesn't seem like much of a trick? But hey, if you're happy you perfected it, I'm happy for you too.

Yeah, I saw a lot of people on Warhawk today - but, I had baby duty so, many times that rules out online games. If you can't pause it, it just won't work out most times.

I must have seen 8 or 9 different people on my friends list playing Warhawk today, and I couldn't join in.

WTF!? 3 times the game froze up on me today, when trying to join from the clan members list, is this normal? I decided just to join a regular ranked game...I got last place<dramatic pause> TWICE! Good grief I suxorz!

Most of the Clan members are on my buddy list as well - I usually join from my buddy list, but I've never noticed a trend with freezes when joining someone from the Clan page.

It took me a bit to pick it back up when I got back from my deployment. Shouldn't be long before you're back to your normal level of suckage.

Also, I suggest you don't spend all your time hiding planes under bridges - I still think that was one of the funniest things I've seen in the game. I go running under the bridge in Eucadia, and I find Jafo has piled every single plane on the board in there. Funny cr@p!

Well Im almost to 102% in Burnout. Once I finish that Ill be picking up Warhawk a lot more. Hopefully get decent at it before trophies come out. Lol

today was SO fun... I pissed off so many people!... I got my arse kicked in the last game tho, this guy played exactly like me... he could do something VERY well that I still can't... and thats dodging missles, I would liturally just hover in my Warhawk and throw EVERY missle that I had on me, none would hit him at all, once he realised I was out of ammo he would chase me down and kill me QUICK!... with the electric charge usually, was the only way he could actually kill me.

You know the drill - it's hard at first, seems like everyone is better than you - then, suddenly - you one of the troops layin' down the law.
