Wow! Great news! They look like Digibooks, which is awesome!

I have never seen Son of Kong, and don't know anything about it, but if it does turn out to be a Digibook, I'll get, rather buying the 20,000 ...and Mighty Joe Young separately. Them! sounds like fun too.

Please have good DNR free transfers and lossless audio, as well as tons of special features.....

I hope that if it's the latter Son and Mighty are together since I don't have either.

These are great announcements and it is good to see volume one on the Hammer collection spine. Means there is hope for the titles left out to appear in the future.

Both say "collectable packaging." Will the set include features or booklets that the standalone releases won't have?

It's the book-style packaging they're referring to. It might have writing on the "pages" that have the disc slots

Already own the King Kong Digi, so this works out great for me. I can finally retire my Kong Collection on DVD. Kind of odd they didn't package them all together in one set though. Looking forward to Them! and Beast as well. C'mon October .....

Do you have some kind of inside info or are you just speculating? Either way, I'd love to see it released on BD.

. The Thing information came from Warner Archive themselves actually. The Hammer II info was shared on a Facebook page that I read, but the titles I heard were not, so thats all i can share.
