Not the end of the world, and I am used to it with digitally shot TV shows, I just wish each season wasn't heralded as the best PQ ever.
Yep think I remember this too. Black levels are certainly not as good as they were in the first season.

Like many here, I've been rewatching the series in anticipation of the upcoming Season 5 premiere. Truth be told, I'm either going to have to marathon in some sleepless days of watching to make it by Sunday night, or put off watching the premiere until early next week.

Watching Season One again, for the first time since I saw it fresh many years ago, what really comes out is how much I missed during the first time, struggling to keep my head afloat while taking in a whole new world with so many characters. Was surprised to see just how many times Ned Stark
[Show spoiler]had a chance to save his head
.

I also appreciate how they referenced future characters and places just through dialogue, especially with a number of Dorne references.

Not only that, but the truth about Bran's would-be assassin...just...wow!

Yeah, they really layered in a lot of detail about just how stubborn he was and all the little ways he cemented his fate. You notice it more when you re-watch knowing what happens to him.

I've found rewatching GoT to be extremely frustrating. The bad things that happen are often so avoidable!

Just a heads-up, Season 4 is now down to $32.99 on Amazon. That's cheaper than the release price, and I can't imagine ever going too much lower than that in the forseeable future.

Procrastinators, rejoice!

That is a great price. I bought the Best buy version and wound up selling the bonus disc and UV codes for $25 so I ended up paying only $10 for the set.

I only wish I could get the Tyrell edition for an affordable price now. My copies of the first two seasons went missing and I ended up splurging and getting the Stark cover for season 1 and Lannister cover for 2.

Now I'm gifting seasons three and four and I've just ordered the Targaryen version for season 3. The cheapest price I can find for Tyrell is $70, and I was willing to do that for the first season Stark cover, but not for something that came out earlier this year...

Well, what the hell do I know? It's now down to $29.99. In fact, all the seasons are on sale!

I should sell my UV codes. I can't ever imagine a point to where I would ever use them. I'm only going to watch the series while at home, and that is where I have the discs anyway.

I could see Baratheon seeing how much of Stannis we saw this season.

The nights watch has no sigil. Their flag is just plain black. Stannis would be nice. I still want the regular baratheon even though its kind of ill suited since season 1.

What about Johnny Cash? His trademark look earned him the nickname "The Man in Black." The Nights Watch wore black, Johnny Cash wore black, thus Johnny Cash was in the Nights Watch.

If Stannis's sigil is used I will get that as the season revolved around him quite a bit.

Most likely: Stannis (Could be yellow or black), Bolton, Martell
Maybe: Tyrell, Nights Watch (If they decide to do a non-sigil)
Unlikely: Arryn

And of course the main three are in play.....

Think that's the option I'm leaning towards too. Last year was sure I would get Martell due to getting Tyrell for S4, but Dorne barely played a role in season 5.
