I think I paid $45.00 for the OOP "Army of Shadows" Criterion disc. Paid about the same for the OOP Twilight Time disc of "Body Double". Both were pretty good deals considering they're OOP. I've been contemplating shelling out a pretty good amount for the OOP "Last Year at Marienbad" blu, as that's one I really want.

![]() ![]() Got it off eBay for around $80. Didn't start knowing about all the limited releases until well after this was sold out. ![]() 2nd place goes to this 3D import of Resident Evil: Damnation for around $60 which is retail, not eBay prices. I love me some Resident Evil CGI films, unfortunately, it was never released here in 3D, only in Japan as a limited edition thing. |

Wife Paid 45$ For An unopened Copy of the third man for my b day before prices got out of hand. I think that's the only time I've paid more than retail for a release. After watching it on netflix (mailed disc) for the first time I kicked my self for not grabbing it when it was on amazon for 16.99$ or whatever.

Pre-ordered the Limited Edition of Nightbreed for $49.19 as a blind buy.
All I can say is that I'd be really pissed if forced to spend what most other people did. |

For one movie it would be any random Twilight Time title, which are $35 shipped.
For a set, probably the Bond 50 set, which I got when it was around $150 right after I got back from living in Europe and wanted to start my BD collection. There are movies I would pay up to $50 or so for if they were out of print or really classy editions, but none of them have motivated me to do so yet. Criterion's Le Cercle Rouge is somewhat tempting, but at $100 or so it's a whopper. |
