Blu-ray Guru

It sounds the pitch for Blu-ray in the early days. Remember the trumpeting of BD Live and things like picture-in-picture special features? I have a couple of those circa 2008 BDs with neat picture-in-picture features. I don't know what happened to that...don't see much of it anymore (but I buy almost entirely catalogue films these days). I've got an old HD DVD flyer from 2007 touting a whole range of "Superior Interactivity, mulitple video streaming, instant access..." The last BD I watched didn't even have a trailer. |
