The writer of the article commented on my question if this was for Blu-ray or DVD:

"1-5 ON DVD, 1-2 ON Blu-ray, 1-2 Digital HD"

So yeah.

If Home Alone 2 gets a Columbus / Culkin track like the first, I'll buy whatever 20th Century Fox puts it in.

Interesting packaging, but I wish it'd come with a full size poster of Buzz's girlfriend.

Woof!

What a crock! To put the effort into doing a package like this, ALL the films should be on Blu-ray. At the very least, Home Alone 3 should be deserving of its own Blu-ray disc with the more recent TV movie offerings being doubled up on one.

I've already got the two-pack of the first two films on Blu-Ray, and they're the only ones I think are worth owning. If the first movie gets a release using the 4K scan, I might double dip on it, otherwise I'm fine with what I've got.

I agree. The rest are garbage, IMO.

That "Battle Plan" poster by Kevin is some top-of-the-line stuff they've included there in the packaging.

Easy pass... terrible packaging. Hopefully the 4K scan version will be out as a standalone non-CE release later or on UHD Blu-ray.

Just need 20th Century Fox to announce something similar about that Die Hard set and I'll be happy.

I had no idea there was a 3, 4 and 5 of Home Alone. I don't have the first 2 on bluray.. so I might buy this.

Never seen the sequels and don't have any plans on doing that, they could put only the first 2 in this edition. Can we expcect brazilian portuguese subtitles?

I'm hoping for more special features on HA2, like deleted scenes and a commentary track. Couldn't care less for the package as a whole, however, as I already own 1/2 on BR and 3 on DVD.

The old Family Fun BD has a cooler, more hazy look to it. This new 4K remastered BD is warmer and richer. It's not as warm as the Family Fun DVD, but it looks closer to that colour timing than the Family Fun BD did.

And yes the new 4K remaster has far better blacks, colours and detail.
