Jurassic World (2015)

Saw the film today and was pleasantly surprised by it. I hadn't liked JURASSIC PARK 2: THE LOST WORLD, and didn't bother to see the third one. WORLD was better than I expected.

I always thought JP3 was 1000 times better then JP2. Only thing I hated with all my heart about JP3 was the need to kill off the T-Rex at the start of the film just to prove how bad ass the new Duck looking Spinosaurus was.

Really? Jurassic Park III didn't really explore any kind of "man vs nature" theme or message like the other three movies did. It also doesn't add much to the overall franchise in terms of story. It is pretty much just people running from dinosaurs, and not much else.

Actually it did add something to the films. It showed us the status of the islands after the incident in San Diego. It showed that the islands were now considered restricted and that they were being monitored. In fact I'd be real surprised if the military didn't throw everyone into a jail cell or something after rescuing them for sneaking onto the island.

all the artwork from Universal that I've seen and received just lists Blu+Digital HD... that BB mockup is just that. a mockup

Are those covers real? I assumed that if FF7 got a DVD then this will, too.

These are definitely fan made. No way Universal adds the BD logo on the front cover for US releases.

EDIT: Or even use the same cover twice for 2D and 3D.

would have preferred a black background with the Jurassic World Lettering.

the border on the 3D version is dope though, but the cover is so awful and generic

saw this in 3d. the 3d was unspectacular to say the very least. wish i'd seen it in 2d. but then again, i went to a late showing and it was on the only option that evening. i liked it better than i remember liking JP2 when i saw it in theaters, but it's not as good as JP1. i've seen all of them in theaters except for JP3, which I still haven't seen. the redhead was yummy, didn't realize she was ron howard's daughter until i looked it up on IMDB afterward.
