I'm super impressed with this seller. We had amazing communication. Found him on the Sideshow Collector forum.

Yeah, it's a great place to pick up some pieces at very reasonable prices. I just bought the Art Figures Dredd figure from a seller on there the other day, $175 shipped, brand new still sealed.

I can't wait, it should be here Wednesday.

[Show spoiler]

I'm going to try and fit Hawkeye in there when he arrives. That should be fun...
Love the Cap.

I've just started my collection again, as I got rid of most of it a while back. I've bought one of those glass display cabinets like yours for my new Hot Toys figures and was just wondering what those light boxes(?) are on your wall displaying your posters. I want to get some. What are they called and how much do they cost roughly. Thanks.

I've pre ordered a Star Wars Biker Scout from Forbidden Planet UK. They reckon it will be 31st August before it comes in stock.

I could have ordered one of eBay but the import fees are killers.
I just got a Hot Toys Man of Steel and the import fees were £40. Not such a bargain after postage was £40 as well. At least the figure was only a ton!

Hot Toys Return Of The Jedi Boba Fett will be mine. Went with the standard edition because the Sarlac Pit had the beak on it. Have the Sideshow C3PO and Hot Toys Vader on pre-order.

Has there ever been talk of making Yondu for the GOTG set?

Ha!

I hope they get to Yondu at some point. I only have Groot and Star-Lord at the moment. Yondu is my favorite after those two so I'd like a figure. Michael Rooker needs to be in more than just TWD figure form.

I agree, and if I were to get any GotG figures, Star Lord and Groot would be the only two I would get as well. I'm not a fan of Gamora's hair and I don't care for Rocket's sculpted hair. Star Lord and Groot are truly flawless though!

I had a Star Lord but traded him. Kind of wish I didn't now, but at least I traded him towards a AVP Ancient Predator and AVP Alien Warrior, both somewhat pricey pieces themselves.

Those are some sweet trade figures tho.

Star-Lord is pricey now on the secondary market now. I regret the day I finally get around to buying Batman '89 on the secondary market. I've seen the prices and common sense says stay away but I do want it. I have both Joker's, thank heavens.

Yeah, the 89 Batman I picked up recently arrived in great condition, but the box was beat up. I settled on a $40 refund from the seller, so I ended up only having $155 into it, including shipping. I would like to find a mint box eventually though.

There was a Star Lord listed last week one morning for $200 and I thought about it too long and someone grabbed it up. I should've just bought it, those things are selling for $300 now pretty regularly for just the normal version.

I had my doubts but it's actually really nice on both. In person changes your outlook. (like always, haha)

Now I do think since Chewie came out so freaking amazing, they might do fur for the GOTG2 Rocket. However, it might be impossible due to the nature of his facial features. We'll see!

Either way I love seeing them all on the shelf looking badass, but Drax needs to hurry up so the team is complete. I want a Nebula too!

Thanks buddy. The lightboxes are from http://www.movie-theater-lightboxes.com. As far as I know they are the best ones on the market, but they should be for the prices!

$155!! damn............for me its around £300 to buy locally in the uk

i cant buy anything from america as the import duty is just ridiculous

i was bidding on a 89 batman that was barely above £100 but then mysteriously the ebay listing dissappears and all bid gets cancelled.

89 Batman is something on my list as well. One day hopefully.. The prices are intense. I'd go for that new Batman Returns version but he might not go as well with 89 Joker.

Now that they're releasing Drax, I may get this set. I have an amazing display in mind if I do get them. Star Lord is the most expensive and the only one sold out on Sideshow of the previous four. eBay prices are $300 and up.

At this point, just wait for GotG 2 version. The current one is awesome, but not worth paying $300+ on. Get the next one when it becomes available for $220-230 preorder and you can just do a payment plan.

If you can wait a couple of years that is.

I do hope another edition of Star-Lord comes out. I'm still considering a secondary market one right now. But, your right. I'm not paying $300 for him, especially not the Normal version.
