I wouldn't get the Sony right now. Their V/W/Z lineups this year all have a 'white sparkle' issue, which you can read about at AVS. I initially purchased the KDL46W4100 and noticed the white sparlkes. It may not bother some, but it was enough to bother me especially since I watch a lot of darker movies. I exchanged mine this weekend for a Samsung LNa750, and I couldn't be happier.
