decide on 2 LG TVs - Blu-ray Forum

there is the 42LG50-$999(futureshop) and the 42LG30-$1199(leons) both for sale. First one sale ends tomorrow and then they are the same price. At the same cost, is one better than the other?

im guessing the difference being the 50 is the newer model. Could not tell you what the spec difference is...but if they are similar in price Id get the newer model.

Definitely the 42LG50. It is 1080p which is full hd. The other is 720p. Still good, but the 42LG50 is the best resoltion out of the two. Also the 42LG50 has better contrast ratio. No doubt about it that the 42LG50 is better.

thank you, I never noticed that. But I think I'll still stick with Leons because they have right now 18 months no interest no payments. I still have an account there from the summer(bought a new bed). They have a (52LG50)52" reg. $2,199 now $1,699. The wife and I are going to go and look tomorrow lol

Ended up getting the 52" LG from Leon's. Will be here with the new couch on monday!
