I really don't see a huge difference in price between Panasonic and Pioneer plasmas. Check it out for yourself:

Panasonic - TH-58PZ750 58" 1080p Plasma HDTV is $3450
Pioneer - KURO PDP-6020FD 60" 1080p Plasma HDTV is $3800

We are talking about 350 bucks here.
Which to me makes the Pioneer the clear winner...
