That I don't remember. If I stop by this weekend, and if they still have them (I don't see why not; the cards suck ), then I'll double check the preorder price.

What I didn't care for was the snooty response I got when I said this a few pages ago that I should "just not buy them!" Just because it would make me happier to not have the stress of having to track down five slips from Walmart doesn't mean I wouldn't want them, nor vastly prefer one alternate from Target or something. I like the alternate covers but I detest the way they've been releasing them, so they need to get some message that the five every time at WallyWorld is a business model no one enjoys, just tolerates to catch 'em all.
GOTG and captain america slips weren't announced until 1-2 weeks before release.

On UK releases the BD logo has never been bigger than title of the film, I have found that honor exclusive to US discs and it looks so stupid.

Walmart slips for GotG were first reported about on 30th October for a 9th December release date, and Winter Soldier was 13th August for a 9th September release. So the window is closing for announcements being made, but it seems strange they'd pass on this while giving WS and GotG the full treatment.

My favorite art on this one is the 3D cover, but none of them really impress me. Might just go for the standard edition and say screw it, I dunno. Will see what day-one prices are.

When I want a knockout Marvel steelbook, I'll go with Blufans. They've always featured disc artwork, some WEA goodness, a lenticular full slip, and extra goodies to top it off. Best Buy's is just a watch copy for now.

From an artistic viewpoint having Black Widow/Scarlet Witch uncovered is a much more beautiful display. Also the left's artwork doesn't even mesh very well. Cap's the horse's ass to Tony. Hulk looks so out of place. Thor's the only one that looks good in that panel. The other side looks better and meshes well imo.
All the Marvel steelbooks art from Disney has seemed like an afterthought. Just photoshop something together from promotional images. They'll sell out anyway!

The Guardians one was rather unique, though I didn't like it. Only one I got was Cap 2, because I liked the cover a lot (LOT) more.

Being that disney hasn't sent out review copies yet, I'd assume at least another week

Yep. All disc content is the same. No exclusive bonus disc has been announced like there was with the first one.
