I'm at light level 249 and still getting my **** pushed in on the daily heroic. It took me about an hour this morning to finish today's, yesterdays crushed me entirely and I couldn't complete it.

I bought the Year 2 version of Light Beyond Nemesis last night, which brought my light level up to 254 (It's really hard for me to find good gear).

I'm not sure if I should shoot for Helm of Saint-14, Mask of the Third Man, SUROS Regime, Bad Juju, or Truth next.

I bought a year two weapon at 280 light only for me to start getting blue weapons at 285, 290.

Blues drop up to 295, even 299 it seems, in terms of light level. Good place to start as far as infusion is concerned, I guess.

Daily Story/Daily Crucible is a guaranteed 30 per day. Heroic Strikes is a guaranteed 30 per week. Nightfall is 25 per character per week. Quests and stuff otherwise, or dismantling TTK legendaries gets you anywhere from 3-5 per.

Just gotta play the game. I think I've earned around 250 over the last two days so far just in the above, including quests. Then again, I played about 36 hours over the last two days, now I'm back to work and normalcy which is only about 3 hours a day or so.

The year 2 SUROS looks so good. Not sure how I am going to make the decision on what to choose either.

Always equip the highest light items as you can, as the game will then drop items at a higher level. I have been only quipping my exotic class item, which I feel has been a mistake. At least for PvE.

Yeah, I have been doing that.

I still have a few quests I can finish completing tonight and hopefully tomorrow I'll be close to 290 for King's Fall (apparently the required light is 300?).

Level up your gunsmith as when you get to level 2 , you can order all the guns from him (5 legendary) and you can dismantle them.

Pump xp or motes of lights into legendary armor / weapons and then dismantle them to get 5.

Buying the weapon is exactly WHY those blues started dropping with those stats, so don't kick yourself in the ass over. If you hadn't bought it you wouldn't be getting those drops. This is how the new mechanic works.

For what it's worth, I was by myself last night doing Venus patrol and I killed two champions at the Citadel with randoms and got credit for the Quest.

but i wonder what xur will have... there's no way he's going to be selling 280 gear at least not for 20 coins

i have a feeling it's going to cost 75-150 coins

suros or truth? i do like a big rocket launcher to make things easy

I didn't see this stuff in the navigation map anymore so I assume I'm not a high enough level yet or they moved it.

I had one appear last night when I was on Mars killing Cabal majors. There was only one other guy in the area and he wasn't in my fire team. We didn't take him down but he did appear without us being in a fire team. We were just killing the spawning Taken when he appeared.
