Just had my first chance to really try out the new expansion and new features and all I can say is wow. Joined a server with Archipelago Capture the Flag with just all the middle islands with jetpacks and split screen allowed and no team damage. It was my definition of a perfect game setup and to make it even sweeter I had RHCP cranked the whole time me and my buddy were playing. It was fantastic. Can't wait to play lots more Warhawk.

why is it sometimes when you win a team game you don't get your 50 bonus points for being on the winning team?

Usually, it's cause you spawned into the middle of a game - you have to be there the entire duration.

However, I had the same issue last night. Never left the server and it said "Blue Team Wins" - and I didn't get the extra points. I double checked to make sure I had been on the Blue team. Yep - but no points.

All the other games I won before and after that one, got the points. Dunno.

But that is a 1% occurrance for me, so I don't mind too much. However, I'm going for my next rank and still need quite a few points, so, I sure wouldn't mind those extra 50 when I've earned them.

When the game first came out my rank got wiped when there was all that bother in the first few weeks. was up to wing man. up to chef Sargent now but its hard going moving up in rank but great fun at the same time.

I got my hat trick trophy yesterday. I had 3/5 flag caps for our team. They weren't that great, but the trophy wasn't a gimme either. I finished that game with 198 points after the winning team bonus

I have to say I am a little frustrated with the ranking system (especially for badges). My understanding is that it didn't matter if you did the Global requirements of IAR requirements first as long as you got both.

However it is becoming apparent that you need to hit the global requirements first and then do the IAR which is stupid. I have done a lot of rounds getting 10 machine gun kills or capping 5 flags just to find out I have to do it again.

Color me dissapointed, especially since I have to play on more difficult servers now which makes getting those even harder again.

Its one of the worst ranking systems. Most other games give you either or, so If you do IAR, you get it, or if you meet the Global you get it. I think that is how it should be, and the Rankings need to be lowered. (General, again).

It's not just you; I am experiencing this quite a bit lately. You know, I think you may be on to something. Perhaps it is somewhat rank related.

I ended up in a CTF game yesterday and I swear that from the 20 folks on my team, probably 3 were actually playing. I was getting my ass kicked over and over again by the amount of warhawks the other team had in the air.

You spawn - You die.

You jump in a warhawk, as soon as you're a foot above ground, you get several homing missles aimed at you.

The only base we had was our home base, and it was invated by 3 or 4 foreign tanks.

I managed to capture a couple of bases; but no one would have come and friggin help. Instead, they are all hiding out with their sniper guns and binoculairs.

I go running for a rocket turret; and this idiot on my team tries to kill me; which didn't work because friendly fire was turned off. He then goes and destroys the rocket turrets. What an idiot.

I love this game; I really do; but things like this piss me off beyond belief to the point I just don't want to play it anymore.

People either aren't playing or are just idiots. I spawned to a team losing 4-0 on flag caps on Island Outpost/Stand Off. It doesn't seem like Warhawks have taken over the board - so I stay for a challenge. I get the flag back to our base, hiding out in the buncher. 2 people show up and kill me. I tell them as I'm spawning - "Get the flag, it's in the bunker". Nope, they keep sniping, stay in the missile turret (and we have guys HIDING!). I get the flag back to use 5 times - each time the other team has groups that come in and kill me, and my guys are doing nothing.

I don't understand. Like you said, this is my favorite game, I've played this game more than any other game I've ever played but d@mn it's getting annoying just to find a decent game that isn't COMPLETELY one sided (which really shouldn't be possible as much as it occurs).

Get this - when I returned from my deployment, I had over 400 wins, and 400 losses (slightly higher in the wins). Four months later - My losses are in the 700's and my wins JUST went over 500 yesterday. That should be impossible. I'm usually the top scorer on these teams so I feel I'm doing my part, but I'm am tired of being on horrible, horrible teams. I miss the days of balanced games.

Actually I have found that most likely in those instances it is players on your team really playing for the other team. I had one of my "teammates" warhawks trying to destroy me and flip the APC all the way from the enemy base to our base on Archipelago because I got the flag.

Similar things happen to me and usually I just have to find a new game. I would have the flag be returning it to base and then die only to see my "teammates" in a fully loaded APC go past the flag and to the enemy base. Players seem to have a difficult time multitasking. They are trying for a badge or to improve some skill but that is their only focus, not balancing that with the objective of the game. The game is capture the flag, not how many sniper kills can you get.

That's the problem - I literally spent 2 hours last night going from room to room, looking for a balanced game (either I was WAY outnumbered - or my team was simply idiotic and nothing was going to help). It was one of my more frustrating experiences with the game lately. I finally found a decent game, and by then, it was just too late to keep playing.

I currently have 68 wins and 179 losses. I know its not just me either lol.

On a sidenote Im getting annoyed that we cant get something setup to get rivalry lol. Its such an easy trophy and with thousands of clans in the game why cant we get something set up! Lol

EDIT: Just wanted to say not annoyed at you Cymbol or anything like that...just that no other clan will step up lol.

Don't know. No clans on blu-ray.com seem interested enough to try. I supposed I could send messages to people I play with randomly, (just pick a person with a Clan tag in front of their name) and send them a message, asking if their Clan would be interested.

Too bad you can't tell who is a Clan Leader. I always thought that would be kind of cool if Clan Leader's had an arm band or something that distinguished them. I'm sure that would lead to a lot of people trying to target them, so maybe give them just a bit more health, and just a few more bullets etc. Just a fun thought.

I just got Warhawk yesterday, played it a bit, was a bit disappointed to see I had to shell out another $15 for the maps everyone is playing on now, guess I'll hook that in sometime this week.

Just got off. Played a couple of game with Caliblue, then a few games with Avarond.

Cali ended up on the better team, but hey, I was the number one player on the losing team again!

Got a few rounds with Avarond, played the first couple, but then the rest of the 3 games my wife kept asking me to look at magazines and my opinion of things, etc. - and pretty much talked non-stop. I don't even know if my team won or lost , but I was in the top 3 each time, so I must have been doing something right (or my team sucked as usual).

Anybody else find it incredibly hard to play Warhawk and hold a conversation at the same time?

Got a couple of medals tonight - 1 more for my 15. (I really need to start paying attention to what is needed for medals, ribbons and badges. I try to care, but I keep forgetting while playing.)
