I'm no football expert, but do they retire numbers like in the NHL?

whats with football players all together. no sport has nearly the off-field issues that football has.

i really wish some class acts like jerry rice, brett favre, dan marino, marshall faulk would call a bunch of these players out and tell them to quit the crap.

If they weren't talking about him, they would be talking about how bad the Bengals are and if Marvin Lewis will make it to the middle of the season (I don't think he will).

wow, i sound like a brett favre fanboy there, i really could care less about him, the packers or the jets, but i guess i just hate the current smut of nfl players and wish a leader like favre would tell them to cut the crap. i think that would be a good thing for the nfl and few people in the league would carry the punch that favre could send.

you think so? what big has happened lately other than chalmers and auther being busted with pot.

i follow the nba the least out of the four majors, but havn't caught anything big off SC lately.

Chad has gone from being eccentric to being an outright embarrasment to the team and the city. He's a baffoon!!

It's sad that one guy is so obssessed with promoting his own idea of fun, he fails to realize that football is a team sport.

He's worn my last nerves.
