As everyone already stated it's not your HDMI cable. For future reference you can buy an $8.00 HDMI cable that will perform just as well as your $99 Monster HDMI cable.

Also don't let anyone fool you into thinking that there isn't any grain in Transformers. There are some scenes in the movie where grain is present and it should be there regardless if your LCD is calibrated correctly or not.
