I wonder what they're saving for tomorrow. Has to be a Collector's Edition. The Resurrected? Something already released like Manhunter? A Universal title? Or perhaps something not from Fox, MGM or Universal?

While I think SPHE has the rights, and I guess they deal mostly with TT...I would love for Scream to somehow release a Rec boxed set!
I keep holding off importing in the hopes a nice US set gets released.

Seeing as how I bought the existing Blu-ray of Manhunter last month, and then bought the existing Blu-ray of Wrong Turn for five dollars from Best Buy today...

It's looking like tomorrow's big announcement is going to be for Wrong Turn.

I honestly don't mind the double dips. Usually whatever disc it's replacing probably cost me $5, and can be sold for $2-3. And the CE's are snazzy looking, and assuredly the last time I'll ever buy each film. I say keep em coming

But yeah I was super close to buying Manhunter yesterday. That was close.

I hope Scream stick to a policy of only doing double-dip CE's if they can offer a new transfer, or different versions of the film which haven't appeared in HD before. With Return of the Living Dead, you imagine it will feature the original audio. Extras are nice and all but many of the titles MGM have already released are fairly stacked as it is (e.g. Child's Play, Killer Klowns, TCM 2).

It's weird they're not releasing the first Species. Guess MGM didn't want to let that one go for some reason. A box set of all 4 would've been cool.

That was my initial thought but why would they announce the sequels today and the first one tomorrow? Could've announced all four today and saved Manhunter for tomorrow.

If Shout is gonna get any titles from Sony, Candyman has got to be their top priority.

Psycho IV is coming out in Australia (as part of the boxset) so maybe Scream will release it.
