I contacted PDP, they told me this was an issue they haven't heard of and told me to exchange it for a new one. I did exchange it and the pop-up button still doesn't do anything. I've done a system software update and tried multiple Blu-Rays but the button doesn't do anything at all, not to mention bring up the pop-up menu. Has anyone else had this problem?
There's a thread in the PS4 forum regarding this remote and the same thing is mentioned there. Pretty crazy. Guess quality control isn't what it used to be. So sad. Pathetic really. What I'm waiting for is an IR to Bluetooth converter, so that I can properly integrate a PS4 with the rest of my home theater setup. I own a couple of the ones found here for my PS3's. Couldn't fathom owning a PS3 without one.
