I've had my copy of Ruined Heart pre-ordered since it went up so mine automatically dropped to £10 (VAT removal). I'm super happy about that. Works out to be about $25 shipped. Can't wait to watch it.

Dolls and Kikujiro are up on amazon for £14.00. Happy to get a pre order in, especially if they're going to do random short price drops like they have with Ruined Heart.

Edit: Hana-bi also £14.00. Got all three ordered now. So far these are my only pre-orders for next year! Excited to see what you've got up your sleeve to follow them.

There is also a Japanese version with English subs that's been out for a few years.

Any chance of releasing Takeshi Kitano's Brother on Blu-ray? It's not amazing, but I always enjoyed it quite a bit.

Liked it too. It also has one of the if not the best Joe Hisaishi scores and that's saying something.

possibly at some chance depending on rights lapsing or whatnot, but prefer to focus on his classics first and make my way through, as per Tsukamoto

Is there any chance of Third Window releasing any Hirokazu Kore-eda, like Maborosi or Nobody Knows? Kore-eda's work seems to fit in with the style of Third Window's catalog.

I think New Wave Films or Drakes Avenue/ICA have the UK rights to most of his older titles (Soda Pictures released After-Life), whilst Arrow Films have been picking up his newer titles. There could be potential for the licenses to expire and therefore Blu-ray release, but that might be costly and a bit of a gamble...not sure the Arrow Films titles on Blu-ray are particularly huge sellers. Be interested to see who picks up (or has picked up) Our Little Sister though.

It's a 1000 only limited ALL REGION bluray, soundtrack and booklet set, so really a fantastic collectors package at a great price (have to pay a lot of music royalties so it's an expensive set to produce)

Soundtrack includes this super catchy tune!

Absolutely loads of extras on the disc too!
