sounds like oryx won the night last night...

for whatever reason it seems that there is a lot of struggling with the hard raid. the same goes for my normal raid group, we've been pretty good about raiding once or twice a week but still have trouble each week. Seems like a different part goes awfully wrong and we get stuck for an hour.

I blame Biz! lol

I can take it and dish it out as well as anyone, and I don't really want to play with anyone who can't be that way. But, you have to admit, that goes over a lot better when you are, for one, winning, and more importantly, when it seems like everyone is actually having fun. But, it really has not seemed like we are all having fun the last couple of times...the idea of quitting being a common topic of conversation.

The frustration with different aspects of the game and poor morale has been obvious and has manifested in pretty bad gameplay.

It is folly to expect to make quick work of a boss in hard mode, if the same team can't even finish normal mode together anymore. That's all there is to it.

I don't think anyone here will disagree, that if everyone playing is not committed to beating it, you're not going to beat it, and it's not even worth trying.

So, there you have it.

If you all want to get together and try to beat it, and maybe have to work at it for a while, given we have never yet even beat hard mode (and couldn't beat easy mode last time) let me know; let's figure out a time that works for everyone. But if we're just going to rage quit after 30 minutes, I'm not interested anymore.

I have the same cp and I'm on vacation so I'll be off and on quite a bit throughout the day. If you see me on just jump in and I'll fly down so you can get the cp.

If you practice, it becomes fairly easy. I've noticed when people get distracted or ragey / blamey is when things go down the tubes.

Our group ribs one another a lot whether you die a lot or not (I get ribbed a lot and often does the least... I also never have the most kills). I figure if they really had a problem with me, they'd replace me in the regular raid slot.

I could tell a couple of our regulars on Tuesday night were getting pretty salty about how it was all going.

But of course, me being me didn’t ease off of them when I probably should have.

i want to get the trophy for beating the hard raid.....so i'm committed to giving it the 'ol college try until i can get it done.

Oh yeah, if you don’t have a thick skin when playing w/a group every week……you probably should find another game to play.

I always make it a point to send a screen shot of the stats from the raid the next morning…..then I gloat b/c I’ve been #1 or #2 in kills the last 3-4 raids we’ve run.

What makes it all the more fun is that I run a Warlock…… “the weakest class” according to my buddies.
