When it says it has space for Spectre, what does that mean? Can you order a disc-only version of Spectre when it comes out to match all the other discs that come in this set?

It just means there's an extra slot in the packaging where you can keep Spectre when it comes out. I'm unaware of any way to order the disc only, but it would be cool if they did that.

By the way, guys, I read online that Amazon will price match within ten days of purchase. So, for those of you who bought this back on Black Friday for $99.99, send their customer service a note that you'd like the difference credited back. They should either put the $10 back on the account you paid for, or give you a credit for future purchases. I'm using the $10 as partial payment to get the Casablanca 70th Anniversary collectible box which Best Buy is selling for $22.99.

Based on the previous Bond 50 set, this should be the lowest it'd ever go. Too bad I already got it at $99.99, but with Chase 10% Amazon reward that is currently running, I am literally also getting it at $89.99

Update: Chatted with Amazon and got $10 back in Amazon gift card. Do it asap as their policy is to only refund the difference within 7 days.

The set WAS an Amazon exclusive. Not anymore as FoxConnect.com also started selling it and then Best Buy.

Damn, had to order for that price. I'll put the Bond 50 set on ebay and sell the digital codes and probably come out breaking even, but getting better packaging, the book and the new bonus disc. Works out well I suppose.

Same here. The Bond 50 set has always been a pain to store in my shelves. I like everything about release better.

I bought the standard white collector's set about a month ago, exchanged it for another standard collector's set a week later because one of the discs was freezing on me. I paid $90 + tax on the standard set. Now I'm wondering if I should buy the ultimate collector's set, sell the codes here that come with the ultimate set, and sell my standard collector's set? I'm just worried that I might end up with a bad disc again and I don't want to rewatch every disc to make sure all discs are good on the ultimate set before the exchange period is over in case I end up with a bad disc again. Would it be worth the hassle for me to go through this and even potentially more hassle if I end up with a bad disc again?

I'm not sure if people can just use computer to scan the BD for errors. That should speed up your checking. I do get bad discs, but they are rare that I usually do not care to check them. Usually just a visual check is enough. I usually see visual defects with a disc that locks up.

The disc that froze on me had no scratches or dirty/smudges.
