I just searched this thread to see if anyone else had shared my theory, and I came by this from June 2, 2015.

Very good efforts, but obviously need more info to make it work.
[Show spoiler]Luke's appearance is like just 60 seconds, Max Von Sydow also lacking screen time. And it's like episodes IV, V and VI compacted into one movie. It's the greatest hist of the original trilogy, remixed.
That whole thing seems to be true. All of it. I never read most of that until now, and everything thing we've seen is in there! This movie is what the original trilogy was going to be like before when it was going to be one movie. But there's still enough new ideas in the second and third acts for it to feel pretty fresh. .

Now I'm really curious to see if there'll still be the emotional impact of that character's death. Whoa...

The only plot holes I can think of (unless they're made clear in the movie) are these:

[Show spoiler]How did Poe Dameron return to Yavin iV?

What was the Millennium Falcon doing on Jakku?

Why were Han and Chewie on that bigger ship waiting for Rey, Finn, and BB-8?

Is Leia Rey and/or Kylo's mother?

Is Rey this "Kaku" character? (Didn't understand that bit.

I guess we'll find out at some point whether Rey and Kylo are siblings. And what caused Kylo's hatred. Unless Kylo was the one that killed the younglings? Not sure if that was implied?

The ending feels a lot like TESB's ending and when Luke went looking for Yoda.

They not going to kill the main token black dude in the first movie. It doesnt work like that. Finn is going to be developed, evolved and one of the main great characters of these upcoming Star Wars films. There is no way in hell that they would kill him off.

Finn being a fakeout and dying while Rey becomes the jedi really seems like a logical guess to me. However I wonder how people would react to that, both for political correctness reasons and plot concerns. I dunno. We shall see.

P.S. I have no idea why you guys keep spoiler-tagging speculation.

People Magazine Confirms Snoke’s Height And Weight From Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

“Andy Serkis, the master of CGI characters from Gollum to King Kong, plays the still-unseen Supreme Leader Snoke who has scenes with Kylo Ren. “All I can say is that I’m involved in it,” he has said. But Neal Scanlan, chief of creature and droid effects, told PEOPLE, “This character is much better executed as a CGI character. That’s just a practical reality when he’s 7-foot-something tall; he’s very, very thin.”

A global press conference for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was held today in LA at 2 pm PST. Here are some of the highlights from the event…

Kasdan on Kylo Ren:

“There’s never been a character like Kylo in the saga,” Kasdan said. “He doesn’t have his shit together. When you see him, you get the conflict that people feel, that any one of us can have at any moment.”

J.J. Abrams asked if Maz and Yoda crossed paths in the past:

“I do believe that Maz and Yoda at one point crossed paths,” JJ chimed in, “but of course do the events of the past films, that’s not something we’ll see in this one.”

Carrie Fisher comparing the filming of the Original Trilogy with the Sequel Trilogy:

“I am the beginning of Girl Power. Deal with it!” Carrie Fisher said after a question. “I got to be the only girl on a set with all boys on the original trilogy. Put stuff in their drinks. We drank all the time on the originals, this one was a sober set.”

J.J. Abrams on the character names:

Kasdan and JJ’s criteria for names was just, “Did we like it?” Abrams said, “A lot of names came and went, and some stuck. I remember when we put down BB-8, it was the first and only name that droid had. Rey, Finn, and Poe went through many iterations. Kylo Ren and Maz Kanata were there very early on.”

J.J. Abrams asked if there are Ewoks in the movie:

“No, there are no ewoks in this film. But there are a lot of them in Return of the Jedi,” Abrams answered.

Abrams asked if any easter egg or extra scene will be featured after the credits:

“No there’s not,” Abrams said.

Abrams on Kylo Ren’s costume:

Abrams said that Michael Kaplan’s costume designs are “extraordinary. The most difficult one was Kylo Ren. I don’t know how many hundreds, probably thousands of iterations. During the process, the costume for Captain Phasma was designed, pitched as one for Kylo Ren! For story reasons that didn’t work, but she became one of my favorite characters in the movie.

“When we finally saw the mask and this design, it really quickly became the one.”

Are we going to see Carrie Fisher’s dog Gary in the film?

“I wish, I begged JJ. Gary was willing to sleep with him to be in the film. He didn’t like having him on the set!” Fisher said. “No I loved him!”he said.

Kathleen Kennedy asked what’s not in the movie:

“Jar Jar is definitely not in the movie. Ewoks are not in the movie – that was because Harrison insisted,” Kennedy joked.

Kennedy Confirms they start filming Episode VIII in January:

Kennedy said that “not every single moment” of the trilogy is mapped out but “there’s great collaboration. Rian is ready, these guys are going to be heading over in January to start on Episode VIII”

Any romance in the movie?

“Mostly with BB-8,” Isaac said. “There’s a real warmth there, there’s a give and take, and that’s who has his back in the X-wing. So if there’s any romance for Poe, it’s with those two little balls.”
“Hasn’t it always been like that?” Ford deadpanned.

Because it might possibly be true and if people read it without spoiler tags, it would ruin the movie for them if is indeed true.

That makes zero sense man. It's speculation. If you happen to be right people will just be like "good guess!" You're not spoiling anything.

I just booked my tickets for the 30th of December as all the earlier dates were sold out.

I just hope I'm able to stay clear from any possible spoilers after the 18th.

So I read that huge spoiler from that script chart that
[Show spoiler] Han and Chewie sacrifice themselves to protect Rey and Finn as the Millineum Malcon swoops in to block that Death Ray weapon, going out with bang.
