Somewhat. I would imagine the Decepticons that were burred under the ocean get revived by new bots from space. Prime said the cube would kill him but that does not mean it killed Megatron.. afterall Megatron seemed a lot stronger.

Actually, Prime said it may kill him because it's pure power. He didn't know what would happen.

EDIT: Actually, Ratchet and Ironhide said all that. Prime just agreed.
