These are listed as two individual releases. I believe both are 25GB. I don't have any info on the encoding.

Dans Une Galaxie...2 has TrueHD but the first one only Dolby Stereo! WTF!! The DVD had Dolby Digital 5.1!

I gave it a rent at videotron, and they are both 1 and 2 on the same disc, i just watched the first and it doesn't look bad at all.

Yup because the first one is in 1080p, and we can do a fair comparison between 1080i and 1080p with those movies, and the first one definitely looks better.

The back of the case lists only 1080i resolution, I assumed it was for both films.

I know this is an old thread, but I love these films and the series, and the information on this site is incorrect and incomplete. Too bad they don't have a quick "update info" form like Amazon does. There is the Feedback Forum, so I'll post a few updates for this title there.

Both films, Galaxie 1 and 2, are 1080i. Subtitles (Eng only) on the sequel, but not on the first film. As I stated in another thread, Galaxie 1 is there really just as a bonus feature. If you enjoy the movie you really need to get the 2-disc DVD with bonus featurettes and English subtitle options. The DVD has improved audio over the BD on Galaxie 1. That said, it is nice to have the video upgraded here to high-def on the first film.
