I noticed motion blur on the Bravia's also. That's because they are 8MS, copared to 4MS, and plasmas are 2, which is too small of a difference for the human eye to notice.

Yes it does look good but the Samsung LN52A650 was not out at that time was it? and now since it is, imho it would blow the doors off an older DLP tv

Yes because he was comparing it to the older DLP. In my opinion I still think the LCD is a better choice. But thats just my opinion. Im not even in this fight haha, I have a plasma. But from my experience and opinion I have always seen better pictures on the best LCD's compared to DLP's. Now if it were one of samsungs lower end tv's id probably lean more towards DLP, but the A650 and up are totally amazing when it comes to picture quality

The new Samsung LED DLP's at 61" and 67" beat the 650 hands down.

Having researched and tested various models and display technologies...I have never been happier with a purchase. I now have the perfect set. Yes, it isn't as thin as a flat panel but it is still very skinny. Perfect picture with no problems whatsoever.

No motion blur...
No phosphor trails...
No burn in...
No IR...
No Rainbow Effect?

Lmfao, you don't understand.. Panasonic is quality to.. you hear?
It's not a problem with the panel, it's just a problem with the Plasma Technology in general.

Ok, now I'm very confused. I have one person saying DLP will blow it out of the water, and another person saying the A650 will blow it out of the water too..lol

See this kind of thread is going to get the OP nowhere haha. He should just go look at them for himself.

Its just like saying my favorite team is the best and will beat any team hands down. Everything is a matter of opinion in the OP eyes, you know?

None at all. The major issue behind the rainbow effect is the color wheel which spins. The LED models have no color wheel.

Yeah, I understand.. but one obviously has to have better picture quality, and better colors...I just want something with vibrant colors, and something pretty cheap.. how much do you think the A650 will drop around Christmas time..? That's when I'm going to be picking up my new set.

http://reviews.cnet.com/best-lcd-tvs/

http://reviews.cnet.com/best-rear-projection-hdtvs/

Take a look at both those pages, they rate both the DLP and LCD tv's your looking at as the best in their catagory, respectively.

Oh, yeah.. haha sorry about that.. should of known.. but I'm VERY NEW to the DLP Technology... that's awesome...it sounds like a great set. How's the detail quality on a 1080p source, like a Blu-Ray movie?
