You should definitely return this set while you're still under your 30 days; otherwise, you're always going to be annoyed with this. It's not really something you'll get used to. I returned my Sony KDL 46w4100 because of a sparkle issue (before they announced a firmware fix for this) and bad clouding and went with the Samsung a750 instead. The screen is much more uniform, but you run the risk of bad clouding with pretty much any LCD model. It's one of the negatives in going LCD. I'd say exchange this again while you still have the chance. If you can afford slightly extra dough, consider going with the A750... pretty much same PQ, but I hear they don't have as many clouding/purple haze issues that many of the A650s have had. That's also if you don't mind the bezel of the 750, which a lot hate, but I don't really mind.
