Even if there's a WW sequel, it's unlikely to hit until 2022 or so. That alone would probably handicap their ability to place it inbetween WW and BvS in the timeline (since GG will have aged).

Looks good, I'm excited, but I'm still concerned that we have not seen -- heard -- Wonder Woman/Diana speak yet in any of the BvS or WW clips. I hope Gadot can pull off hiding her accent or at least give us some good acting with it.

Those clips looked great. She looks great. But once again, she's mute. What gives?

This movie is purely in "wait and see" territory for me. I'm definitely not as hyped as I am for Suicide Squad or BvS. The look of the film is ugly. It can always be corrected, but the movie looks like a swamp. For a first look -- and I know that's all it is -- I'm not impressed. Wonder Woman and her role in BvS (and of course, a Wonder Woman trailer/further footage) is going to have to sell the hell out of me to get me into the theater for this one.

I do hope it's a good movie and it does well, because if it's bad and it tanks, WB and other studios will say, "see? No one wants to see female superhero movies!" instead of acknowledging it has nothing to do with Wonder Woman being a woman, and female lead superhero movies will become even rarer.

Dude, she's fighting the German army in WWI. With a sword and shield. On a horse.

Excellent.

I'm excited about WW's first movie, but I agree about the look. It looks way too digital.

Still not sold on this yet. I'm excited because it is Wonder Woman, but still not thrilled on casting. I'll need to get more of a feel from BVS first i guess.

Is this film entirely taking place during the WWI era? (And are we really sure that it's WWI? Because those German soldiers look to be wearing WWII Nazi style helmets). I thought it was going to take place across several periods, including modern times? If it is strictly a WWI or a WWII period piece, then I have some concerns with that. I loved everything about Captain America: First Avenger, but I think most of the criticisms about it was because people were in a hurry to see the character in modern times.

Between this, BvS and Suicide Squad I might as well be dead and in Nerd Heaven, the Jessica Jones TV series was a clue already.

Same. Been waiting a long time for Wonder Woman to get a feature film as she's one of my favorite superheroes, but Gal Gadot is a terrible actress from what I've seen. It doesn't inspire confidence that they still haven't showed any clips of her speaking in BvS or Wonder Woman. I have a feeling that Connie Nielsen is gonna upstage her big time.

And Patty Jenkins as director is downgrade from the original choice Michelle MacLaren.

I don't know if them holding off on showing Wonder Woman speak is fishy or if they're "saving it" for BvS, but it's something that I noticed as well. If she kills it in BvS, I could get a lot more excited, but so far this brief footage has had the opposite effect on me. Doesn't mean the movie will be bad, but I'm not feeling the aesthetic of it at all.

I'm excited for this one, since I know nothing about WW except that she has an invisible airplane, but does every DC film need to be super dark? Turn up that brightness a bit. This isn't Gladiator.

All I know of Jenkins' work is Monster and that was very good. Granted, a lot of that had to do with Charlize. But still, a very strong film.

The invisible airplane doesn't exist. Wipe that from your memory.

HAHA! Nice.

Of course, the airplane never made any sense in the first place, back when it still existed. She can fly!

Didn't they de-power her so she couldn't fly at one point in her history?

Yes. Well, actually at one point in the 70s she had lost all her powers. So, she learned kung-fu.

Believe it or not I love those stories. Denny O'Neal, Mike Sekowsky, Dick Giordano -- an all-star creative team if there ever was one. The art is just freakin' spectacular.
