I just heard some amazing news! Jennifer lawerence is going to be digitally morphed into old classic movies. It will be great seeing her performance in godfather as Vito corleone and citizen Kane. I can't wait to see how she delivers the classic line "rosebud." Got Arnold!!

I'm guessing Zoë Saldana, Eva Longoria, Rosario Dawson, Gina Rodríguez, and every other Hispanic actress were simply too busy to commit to do a film that won't be made any time soon, which I why Lawrence signed up.

Hollywood isn't even trying.

You realize that none of those women look anything like Marita, right? Again, in case you missed the first page:

Zoë Saldana? Rosario Dawson? Gina Rodriguez? Come on, dude.

How does someone like Zoë Saldana make any sense whatsoever for this role?

EDIT: Actually, it's too bad we don't have a time machine. Rita Hayworth would have been ideal for this role. Not to take anything away from J-Law, don't get me wrong. But I was just thinking of Latina actresses from the past who would have been amazing in this role, and I just came to the conclusion that there's no one better suited than Rita. Oh well. About 70 years too late.

Listen hear buster. Do not say a bad word about JLO. She can play Hispanic much better then a real Hispanic woman. That's just how gifted she is. Got Arnold!!

It may not be someone's cup of tea, granted. But how something about Marita Lorenz could be boring -- I have absolutely no idea.

Nah, bro don't you know? Lorenz is a automatic Hispanic name. The Z implies it.

Okay, so she had a lighter complexion than most women from her country or from Latin America, but that doesn't mean this role of a lifetime should immediately go to the white girl from Kentucky, no matter how talented she is. It's obvious that a studio would want someone who can bring in the masses, but come on.

But anyways, what's done is done.

Marita Lorenz was born in Germany to a German father and an American mother.

Correct.

OTOH, I'm not sure that anyone here is interested in actual history as opposed to easy offense.

Ah well I stand corrected. I didn't see any mention of that in the article in the OP, so I just assumed. In that case, the white girl, from Kentucky is as good a choice as any.

So this should be interested. She's in talks to play roles based on 3 other real life women.

She's already accomplished so much that you could make a J Law biopic. J Law could even play herself and win the Oscar for it.

Hahaha. Id pay to see that. Youngest person to get 4 Oscar nods by the age of 25. Breaking the record held by Jennifer Jones at 27.

One day there will be an episode of South Park where the guys decide they want to make a movie to star in and every idea they come up with ends with someone saying, J Law did it. They can call the episode 'J Law Did It!'
