I adored this film. It's definitely making my cult Christmas watching over the festive period. So nice to see practical over CGI.

The days of forced subs on German releases are long gone, fortunately. Like just about all German BDs, this one will have the original audio along with the German dub and maybe some additional language tracks. And, most likely, a few optional subtitles to choose from.

But remember that some of the dialogue is in German and we'd need a guarantee of English subs for those parts. Yes, some parts are translated within the film itself, but not all.

Again, since this a Universal release, i'm very positive the disc itself will be identical to the US release.

As it takes 2 weeks to get here or so they do sometimes ship early.

Normally by only a couple days as they really only care about their native customers receiving it by the release day...they aren't going to ship out to the overseas customer early just so they get it on release day.

Have 3 things on the way right now and 1 waiting for dispatch!

The previews for this movie didn't really make it seem that appealing, but after reading through here, looks like I may have to break down and buy this! Just wish the price was a little cheaper! $30.27 is a bit much for a blind buy!!

I always prefer the original title on my Steelbooks, though. I might not be a typical German, I never watch German dubs either.

I was thinking of canceling IF a US version is released, but seeing as Krampus comes from Austrian folklore, a German release is only fitting. Kind of adds to the flavor of the release IMO.
