I've noticed that the last two disks which claimed 7.1 played on my system as 5.1, with my two back surround disks not turning on. I've checked them and they are functional. I have an RXV 2700, with the first blu player,
BD-S1. I've downloaded the latest codes, and the sound box is definately a 7.1 system. I understand that my sound box doesn't do high def formats. I had it set to auto sense the format and the movie was pcm 7.1. My sound box showed mpcm when the movie was playing, yet nothing from the back surrounds. Do you really need high def formats to access a true pcm 7.1? kccarl |
