It's lightly snowing right now. We aren't supposed to get a lot, but even a minor amount could make my power go out.

I heard them say it's suppose to be 6-12 inches. Mainly more in the south, than the north. I know in the eastern part. But there is already a good coating on the ground already. Good thing I have off. Hope your power doesn't go out.

I generally don't mind weather as long as my power stays on. I mean, there are ways to stay warm or cool, and one can always just remain indoors... but if the power goes out, it makes life miserable. If the power absolutely must go out, I just hope it happens while I'm asleep and then gets repaired while I'm out.

I really hope your power remains unaffected.

Watching Cardinals fight over seed in a hanging feeder, and the only other birds making sense of it are the little Finch. They hold up at the bottom and eat from the ground. Sparrows can't seem to make up their mind, they fly down to the ground and the Finch don't mind too much, but I guess this annoys the Cardinals, so they drop down to mess with the Sparrows.

This scatters them all, but the Sparrows fly up to the feeder, which causes the Finch to fly back from the bushes, to the ground. This just goes on and on until the Mocking birds come to feed, and then none of them know how to act.
