I've had excellent experiences with all of Sony's Video related products. I think their Receivers are O.K. but no worse than many of the other lower end receivers out there. Their ES series can hang with alot of the other similarly priced receivers. I prefer Pioneer for Audio, and i'll take Sony for Video any day!
