I have all the dvds right now , i really can't see myself selling all of my dvds and than buying it back on blu-ray unless it's really, really worth it. In which case i'd have to do the same thing with Seinfeld.

I'd be interested in a Complete Series box set for $200. What, too low a price?

They answered that question by having Aisha Tyler on the show for several episodes!

If they released King of Queens I would def. buy it and probably also everybody loves raymond because they are played on the hd channels and were meant to be that way.

with movies its different i dont mind the blackbars but for a tv shows its kind of strange
Unfortunately, the only "HD" channel I know of that plays "The King Of Queens" reruns are TBS, and they don't air them in HD... they just stretch them and upconvert them (at least all the episodes I've seen). They do air "Everybody Loves Raymond" in HD some, but both shows didn't start in HD, as the first few seasons of ELR was shot in 4x3... as was TKOQ.

That being said, I have all of "Friends" on DVD (well, I'm still missing the 10th season), and I just don't think I care enough to double-dip on Blu-ray. Maybe eventually, but I just don't see it happening Day & Date.

Every show that comes to Blu-ray grows the market. A successful show like Friends will attract new Blu-ray owners.

That would be the first time Friends would be associated with brain power.

I don't believe the show was done in widescreen...
I have all the DVDs and would totally buy the BR set if it was made available and was a better quality!

Can't say that I love Friends (have them all on DVD, and that's good enough), but I do hope they release them on BR and that they do well, if only for the fact that it may prompt them to release The West Wing next!

First of all, there were black people on the show from time to time. Joey and Ross both dated black girls, two in fact (they both dated both the girls.) One played by Gabriel Union and the other played by Aiesha Taylor. Second, not everyone makes it a point to have friends from every ethnic group on earth. The show was about a group a friends who lived in New York. Most of the story took place in doors, like the coffee shop or inside the apartments. While I don't live in New York I don't exactly see black people or Hispanics or every race of people everywhere I go.
