Scream have said that Lady in White will be released in June, so if there is another retro title planned for May it will be something hitherto unannounced.

Update on my Shout Factory order!
I ordered Army Of Darkness, Squirm, Shocker, Darkman, Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight, Dolls and Pumpkinhead from Shout Factory on Sunday, January 28. They Shipped on January 29 and they came in on Thursday February 4. Shipping is quick, items are in excellent condition, and they all came with slip covers to boot. Nothing but positives about my transaction

Again...

Anything post Cat People (January 2014) will come with a slip cover as they have been shrink wrapping over them to avoid the outright theft of the slips they were seeing before.

Squirm came out in October, 2014. It will have a slip.

Motel Hell, Night Of The Demons and Sleepaway Camp all came slipless from Amazon for me and they were released after Cat People. Day Of The Dead and Squirm came with slips from Amazon. the 12 titles i ordered from Shout ALL came with slip covers.

weird. so, did they stop shrink wrapping over them? Or, do 2nd printings not contain slips.

I was under the impression that anything after Cat People was pretty much guaranteed to have one.

Maybe that doesn't apply to 2nd printings then?

once again, this slipcover banter always drives me to the brink of insanity. In most cases, there is no guarantee you're going to get a slipcover on a title that's been out for over a year.

You could have 10 responses from people that all order the same title at the same time and from the same retailer and you most likely will get mixed results. Maybe you'll get one, maybe you won't.

Why do people keep asking this question month after month and year after year???

If it's so bloody important to get a slipcover then why can't people stop being so cheap and order the release when it comes out? Don't get me wrong-- I wait for a sale price too but I don't wait for years.....

Yeah, if you NEED a slip after release week I would suggest ebay or an amazon reseller where you can ask ahead of time if a slip is included. Amazon and other stores will ALWAYS be a crapshoot after release week.

Well for me, i just started collecting Scream Factory releases this year, so i was late on the bandwagon. From here on out, i will definitely be getting these releases when they are released. I'm not picky with slip covers on any other types of movies. But the reversable covers make the slips a necessity for me.

I know they are very important to a good amount of people on here, but I don't get it myself. Everyone has different tastes, and that's fine. But yeah, I'm going to guess roughly 1/3 of the posts in this thread, or roughly 650 pages of discussion center on nothing but slipcovers. Is XXX title still shipping with them? Or, the slipcover was damaged, what should I do? Or, discussion of people annoyed with slipcover discussion, of which I've contributed in the past.

Again, I don't get it, but to each their own. It's funny, I don't display mine with the slips, but I haven't had the will to throw them away or sell them either. They sit in a box under my couch. Maybe one day I'll make a small fortune off of them. ha. that's the ticket.

Slipcover talk doesn't bother me much but I am tired of does (insert title) come with a slip? As mentioned above its a crapshoot. If it doesn't come with one just search eBay.

I find the amount of *****ing about people who dislike slipcover discussions ironic considering at least another 1/3 of this thread is about people whining about Scream Factory encodes. Slipcover questions are easily answered/ignored as they rarely go for more the a few posts... encoding whiners will derail a thread for multiple pages with their comments. Once again, ask 10 people what they think of any given release and you'll get comments from the full spectrum of "I don't notice" to "It's the worst thing since Auschwitz". At this point I don't know why any of these conversations bother anyone. The Scream Factory thread is and has always been a catch all thread for multiple topics, even more so when there aren't any new announcements or exciting collectors editions on the horizon.

There is no separate "encode forum".

Encodes speak directly to the quality of the product; that being audio video presentation. People who are obsessed with packaging have been very generously granted a complete forum where they can talk about slipcovers 24 hours a day without having to hear the rest of us complain. They continue to ignore that gift and instead post their packaging discussions in a Blu-ray thread. If they post about paper in a BD thread, they should expect to take some heat.
