i could post a video, but not today. that also means id have to do it again, which im not about to do anytime soon. but it wouldn't be any different, i just did exactly what the guy in the other video did, with the addition of a couple other things. ill just list below EVERYTHING you need to do in order to get the time:
1.
Do the double boost trick: this one is necessary, cause it will shave off over a half second. save your boost for one lap until just before you are going to cross the finish line, that way, the next lap will start off fast, and give you another boost to use.
2.
Hold back on the control stick (or d-pad) in order to get the first barrel roll boost shown in the video
3.
While doing the second barrel roll, align yourself so you hit the boost pad im not sure that this is actually necessary to beat 30.82, but it certainly will help.
4.
Hit both boost pads during the 6th turn these are the three boost pads that are shaped in a triangle. in order to do this, take the inside of the turn and angle yourself a little to the right so you hit the left edge of the first pad and the center of the front pad.
5.
Do the barrel roll at the second level strip this one is hard, but what i did is try to align myself right along the right wall, then at the last second, angle my ship back to the left. this should give you enough time to pull off the barrel roll
6.
Do the barrel roll off the second level right onto the boost pad if you can time this perfectly so you hit the ground right on the boost pad, you will get more of a boost.
7.
PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!! It took me two full 99 lap sessions in order to get this trophy. I posted times of 32.3, 31.9, and 31.00 before i got to 30.60. The third barrel roll was hardest for me, as you had to not only get the perfect angle, but you had to time the "left right left" perfectly. also, i can't tell you how many times i had a perfect lap going and then messed up the last barrel roll.
This is a very hard trophy and no one should expect to get it within a couple minutes of trying. It being so hard however does give you a great feeling when you get it, especially since im only the 4th person so far!
